About E. Drumm Designs

Elisa Drumm Van Auken of E. Drumm Designs is the daughter of artists Don and Lisa Drumm.

She grew up in Akron, Ohio and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Textiles. She went to work in NY for Gilbert Frank as a textile designer for its men's wear department.

After marrying her husband, Jeff, she moved to the Boston area and started her own line of hand-printed clothing. Years later, while raising her twins, she turned in her sewing machines for table saws and sanders and began playing around with painting on wood.

Today, Elisa wholesales her home décor collection of hand-painted items to over 100 galleries across the country.

Elisa opened the E. Drumm Designs storefront in 2023 with the help of her daughter, Addison Waters. The space showcases Elisa's work, in addition to a carefully curated collection of items handmade by talented artists from around the world.
